Intel is preparing a new tablet platform supports Linux / Android
Last week, during the event IDF2012, Intel stated that it will support Linux in its Clover Trail platform (Atom SoCs composed Cloverview ). Affirmation that left her badly broken after news that rival AMD is already working on Linux support for your platform for tablets Hondo .
From Hardware Zone report that intel has made new statements trying to appease the displeasure of the Linux community’s refusal to give support to the operating system in its Clover Trail platform. As Intel states, this lack of support is because Linux are preparing a new platform designed exclusively for Linux / Android.
This statement should please the Linux community, but raises new questions about how this will be different this future platform relative to Colver Trail.
