¿Intel readies a new Core i7-3980X?

In November last year launched its platform Waimea Bay microprocessors made by Intel i7-3900 and 3800 Series “Sandy Bridge-E” along with X79 chipsets “Patsburg” epitomized by the Intel Core i7-3960X .

Although Arctic does not reveal any of the specifications of future Intel Core i7 microprocessor-3980X Extreme Edition, we assume that like the current Core i7-3960X will have 6 cores (or maybe 8 Dreaming is free!) But operating at higher frequencies to 3.3GHz.
