Internet Archive is associated with BitTorrent and throws 1 million files to download

has been noted by many as a hotbed of pirated content where everything is illegal. Well, that’s not true. In addition to legitimate torrents that existed until now, today joined more than 1 million records of books, movies, TV shows and Music albums available for free download.

The torrents from the Internet Archive , and correspond to classic films as “The Night of the Living Dead” (1963), “Dressed to Kill” (1946) and “Cleopatra” (1963), live music concerts , many books and audiobooks, radio programs and more.

Two Archive.org servers are serving as seeds, so the download should go well even if the file you are downloading is not very popular.

All this content was already available for download, but the decision to put everything to BitTorrent could help popularize it and save some money in the use of bandwidth to the organization. The idea is to “maintain the society’s cultural artifacts,” and this is achieved quite well.
