Jailed founder of “Japanese 4chan” published in 2010 by drug
All countries have a forum that is practically the public square of the Internet because of the intense movement within them regarding comments, publications and dissemination of news (like Reddit, or Digg Taringa). In Japan would 2Channel , one of the biggest forums in the world, which is active since 1999 and among its main features is that it allows anonymous publications.
Now, the site is in a controversial situation in Japan because Tokyo police arrested 2Channel founder , Hiroyuki Nishimura, on charges of facilitating drug trafficking because some users made forum posts where they discussed illegal drugs in 2010 and administrators did not erase these postings.
It should be noted that the site generates about 1,800,000 daily postings, and while supposedly Nishimura 2channel sold more than 3 years ago, the Tokyo police said that anyway the forum is the controller through a shell company in Singapore .
