Kingston SSDNow E100 presents its memoirs, business oriented
Kingston, through its subsidiary Digital kingston has just announced a new series of units of solid state memory (SSD). Although this time, specifically geared to the business sector “has relied on both performance and stability offered by Kingston,” the company said.
The new units will SSDNow under the name of E100, and offer superior performance to ten times longer than conventional models (up to 30,000 erase cycles). In addition, technologies include RAISE Datawrite and ensuring performance when working and integrity of the data, respectively.
The E100 series is 2.5mm, SATA 3.0 interface and come in three different models: 100 GB, 200 GB and 400 GB, with maximum speeds of 535 MB/s read and 500 MB/s write. There are no specific release date nor pricing scheme, but given its corporate focus will surely be somewhat prohibitive for the ordinary user.
