Kodak showed us their new multifunction print from your mobile

Every time we do more with our devices, and from our mobile devices. Thinking about it, the people of Spain has introduced its new multifunction printers, which stand out as being able to Print pictures that we sent from our mobile phones, thanks to an application especially designed for it.

These models KODAK ESP ESP 1.2 and 3.2, the inkjet that are incorporated into the portfolio of the manufacturer in Spain. Both are noted for their ability to print remotely: Incorporate WiFi connectivity and synchronized with ‘The Cloud’ to print images and documents they receive wirelessly. These models are offered as a cheaper option than the Hero 5.1 showed that the manufacturer in late 2011 with similar benefits.

KODAK ESP 3.2

So ESP 3.2 is the “big sister” of the family and is designed for people who want to print photos at home, without sacrificing image quality and without adversely affecting your pocket. Incorporates on its front side a color touch screen 6.1 cm to make us easier user experience, you will see in the image above. This will be marketed in Spain for 119 euros.

For its part, the is a little smaller, it also connects via WiFi and has a touch screen of 3.8 cm lateral to, just like her older sister, give us the printing, copying or scanning of documents. KODAK People told us that this model will be sold in Spain for 99 euros.

Stat: Both are compatible with KODAK Print Document Access, which can receive and print documents sent to you from anywhere in the world via email.

Furthermore, as the Hero 5.1 , these two new models can be controlled from the mobile, thanks to the KODAK Pic Flick application for Blackberry, iPhone OS and Android. In the presentation we attended KODAK people in Madrid, we had the opportunity to test their printers for a while to see how this works through the phone and check the quality of printing.

So I downloaded the application KODAK Pic Flick from Google Play , and during the event I connected to the same network that both printers were connected. Then I opened the application, which is really very simple and intuitive and selected three images to send to the printer, as you will see in the following images:

I must confess that the process seemed a little slow … Of course, in the event we had a number of journalists doing the same test, and only had two printers available, so it may be due to that we suffered a little delay in sending the images to be printed.

Of course, I must also say that yes it was worth the wait much because the end result, ie printed photos are of very good quality, keep the colors, contrast, brightness … The impressions were very good, as you can see in the following image:

Besides photographs and dried out printer! The latter is stressed because it seems really remarkable: You do not lose time waiting for drying printed photos, nor have the risk that the ink is fixed while you pass your finger over it and the Danish and photography … for KODAK Point.

I think they are good options for users to print much color in their homes, especially if you are printing photos, because the result in terms of print quality is really good, and the quality / price of printers is attractive.
