Larry Page says that people are not ‘terrified’ if someone uses Google Glass in a bath
Google CEO Larry Page, spoke at the annual meeting of shareholders of the company about the Privacy implications of one of the most anticipated products of the company, Google Glass, which reaffirmed that the fear surrounding the device starts disappear once people integrate these technologies in their daily lives.
“People worry about all kinds of things now, when using the product, not a big problem (…) You do not be terrified if a person enters a public restroom using Google Glass in the same way that terrifies you now that a person can enter your smartphone, you might as well still take your picture, “said the co founder of Mountain View.
In many of the concerns about the privacy of individuals and Google Glass, Page recalled that the company decided to ban “now” (which you can understand that not rule out a change in the future) all applications using the technology face recognition.
