LG announces “Laser TV” 100 inches for CES 2013
LG already overtaking details for ces 2013, which will be held from 8 to 11 January in Las Vegas. The Korean company said that TV will present a “laser Hecto” 100 inches, which is not really a TV like we have, but consists of a projector that displays the image on a screen.
Grace is that it is a laser projector that can create a 100-inch image at 1080p being only 56 cm away from the screen, which can change the way some people install a “home theater”.
By buying one of these, you get the projector and screen included, which also brings a digital tuner, 10w speakers, three HDMI ports, one RS-232 and Smart TV capabilities using the “Magic Remote” from LG. It also includes WiFi connectivity for streaming content.
LG promises a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a duration of 25,000 hours of lasers without being replaced. The company has given no information on pricing or availability of this device, but we hope to see in Las Vegas and tell you first hand how it works.
