Market share for desktop GPUs Q2 2012
A few months ago we published the analysis of market share for x86 graphics (GPUs and IGPs for desktops and laptops) of Jon Peddie Research concerning the first three months of this year . Today we bring analysis for q2 of this year, a period that runs from April to June of this year.
According to the analysis, the graphics market has fallen overall by 6.5% as from January to March this year sold 15.79 million video card, while from April to June was 14.76 million units sold. Another curious fact is that both Nvidia and amd sold less, while Matrox and s3 Graphics was positive, although video cards based on its GPUs aimed at a very specific sector.
