Microsoft and Intel are working together to build better trackpads
Within the past technology event organized by Microsoft Build 2013 , went unnoticed a major deal the company made with none other than Intel, with the aim of jointly undertake the development of a standard for manufacturing quality trackpads computer using Windows 8.1 operating system.
The idea of this project is to create a product called “Precision Touchpad” which may be used by various computer manufacturers like ASUS, Samsung, HP, Dell, etc., to include in their notebooks and provide a consistent experience across devices regardless of brand.
This would solve the problem of having so many different qualities trackpads on the market, with each company taking care of their own product development often without knowing what they are doing, resulting in uncomfortable and precise surfaces. This is why the Precision Touchpad will support for the latest multi-touch technology and promises to be better than the current, which will be seen later this year 2013 when they start the first units dispatched, reaching a mass production during 2014.Build 2013, Build2013, intel, Microsoft, Mouse, Trackpad
