Microsoft claims to have sold 40 million licenses of Windows 8
Late last month, Microsoft was pleased with the high volume of sales in the first weekend of its operating system Windows 8 , which sold four million licenses, surpassing sales of the first weekend of its previous still popular windows 7 operating system.
Microsoft claims that so far have sold 40 million licenses of Windows 8 operating system, pretty good figure, considering the lower demand in the market for desktop and notebook PCs based on x86 .
Interestingly Microsoft declined to comment on the sales of their convertible tablets Surface, which according to CNN Money, are quite low, noting that in the past Black Friday did not sell any Surface, while Apple sold its iPads at a rate of 11 teams sold per hour. You can not win at all.
