Microsoft expects to sell 350 million copies of Windows 7 this year

Microsoft expects to sell 350 million copies of Windows 7 this year

Steve Ballmer, CEO was very optimistic with the results that have 7 on the market during the remainder of the year, to ensure that 350 million copies of the operating system will be sold this 2012.

Reportedly, this would make the software in the most popular version of Windows ever, surpassing even tough rivals such as Windows XP or 98. And is that the results seen so far exceed the expectations of Microsoft, with a special impetus given by license purchases by companies, which increased sharply in recent months.

To this is added the hope of rising Ultrabooks, which the company says should sell more and improve Microsoft products, be it or Windows 8 coming, most likely to be released during the month of October this years.
