Microsoft is offering jobs to former employees of OnLive
With the changes and restructuring within OnLive , many employees lost their jobs. The promise of the new company is to rehire those employees gradually, but inevitably some will not return to their old job.
David Perry, Gaikai chief (chief competitor OnLive), had already announced they would be receiving the CVs of the former employees of OnLive, but not the only company interested in the talent of the ill-fated pioneers of the game via streaming. Now, it’s Microsoft that sends a message to all the victims, offering some jobs in Palo Alto headquarters and at its campus in Seattle.
“We want to talk to all those affected by the transition from OnLive (…), because we want to add to people who want to make a big impact by creating new products and services. There are many great projects for this year and for the future, and our team is constantly growing. “ Offering Microsoft, obviously, is designed in the success of Xbox Live in recent times, it has expanded its content offerings, especially in the U.S., adding more and more services and functions.
And if Sony already has Gaikai, Microsoft probably will not mind having their own alternative for the future, when the game is streamed to amass more .
