Microsoft patent application for Kinect find your mood and show you ads
At this time, online Advertising is learning what we impact us and our behavior on the network. What if you knew well that if we are happy or sad? Microsoft patented an application that would add this variable to the notices.
The patent suggests the use of Kinect to analyze the face and body language of a user to determine their emotions, helping companies to deliver a more appropriate warning. Since Kinect games will not only PCs but also , it may be possible to emotional analysis of when you read your mail, you Google or when you’re playing.
The patent indicates that companies could choose which Emotions to fit in with their ads. For example if you are sad you could offer alternatives for fun, or if you’re happy could sell a gadget.
Of course this would mean that Kinect your face constantly looking for how are you, what is sure to unsettle more than one. There is a patent and no guarantee to be applied, but the idea is now at least.
