Microsoft plans to reduce the price of Windows RT for makers of tablets
According to Bloomberg , Microsoft is planning to reduce the price of its operating system for tablets, windows RT, which is designed for PC manufacturers to preinstall the small tablets with chipsets based on arm .
Rumors indicate that the low price of Windows RT would be a clear sign that Microsoft now wants more computer manufacturers use their operating system, as when it launched, its use was restricted to a few specific and manufacturer partners. It is expected that these restrictions are removed within this year in a few months.
We do not know exactly how much a RT Windows license, as it is confidential information. The operating system has received much criticism because of its performance and limited use, particularly around the desk so that you can only run applications created in its modern interface.
What do you think? Does Microsoft should keep trying to encourage the manufacture of tablets with Windows RT? Or recognize a loss about which even led to lower your price?
