New blow to ACTA: Commerce Commission rejects EU approval

The of the has said “No” to ACTA. With 19 votes in favor of rejection and 12 against, MPs recommend voting against the “anti-piracy treaty.”

That’s the way to Brussels, for the moment the International Trade Commission recommended rejecting the ACT, which aims to introduce new criminal sanctions in national legislation in different countries (27 are states of the EU and another 10 are scattered around the world: USA , Japan …) for those who do not take into account the laws of intellectual property in content circulating on the Internet, whether users or ISPs.

In particular, the Commission has rejected the bill with 19 votes to 12. The point is that the European Parliament will vote in July, taking into account the recommendation of the International Trade Commission.
