New drivers for sound cards based on chip C-Media

From the Web Necacom we get new versions of for audio chip C-Media, known company which manufactures audio chip aimed at different ranges of the market, which are available in many sound cards and in some motherboards.

For starters we have 8.17.40 drivers for audio chip CMI8738, CMI8768, CMI8770 and CMI8787, surprising them find new drivers for CMI8738 and CMI8768 ancient integrated into many motherboards dating from the time of the Pentium / Pentium MMX in his time as the famous PC Chips M598. These drivers are compatible with Windows Vista operating systems and versions 7 to 32 and 64 bits.
