NVIDIA finally TXAA enable their drivers GeForce 304.79 Beta
In March this year, along with the launch of the then new gpu GeForce GTX 680 , Nvidia announced its new features including the new TXAA smoothing method, a method that promises image quality similar to the traditional method MSAA (Multi Sampling Anti -Aliasing), but using less hardware.
The smoothing method (removal of jagged edges) TXAA is a unique feature of Nvidia GPUs based on the kepler architecture, and with the new geforce 304.79 Beta driver, is finally available for owners of Nvidia GeForce 600 series GPUs based on Kepler architecture (GeForce 600 Series GPUs based on Fermi TXAA not support).
The new GeForce 304.79 Beta driver also adds some new SLI profiles and fixes some bugs present in earlier drivers as:
- Problems with flashing cursor in games like Aion, World of Warcraft, Eve Online and others.
- Problems under certain configurations with the sleep function, which restarts the computer instead of turning it off.
- The energy-saving settings remain intact when upgrading to future versions of the drivers.
The new drivers can be downloaded from Nvidia’s website.
