NVIDIA Kepler GPUs GK11x will fully support DirectX 11.1
A few days ago said that their current Nvidia GeForce 600 Series GPUs based on Kepler architecture have no hardware support for DirectX 11.1 , supporting only certain functions using software emulation (CPU), using hardware level functionality of Microsoft directx 11.1 API . From Xtreview report that future Nvidia GPUs will fully support DirectX 11.1.
We know that next year Nvidia plans to launch its new second-generation kepler GPUs (GK11x Series), which possess some improvements over current first-generation Kepler GPUs (GK10x Series), and among these improvements is the full support (accelerated GPU, without requiring the CPU emulation) to API Microsoft DirectX 11.1, and its new features not supported by the current DirectX 11 GPUs (GeForce 400, 500 and 600 Series and AMD Radeon HD 5000 and 6000 Series), which the of Hardware.FR summarized in this table:
It is expected that the new geforce 700 Series GPUs “GK11x” make their appearance for the first six months of next year.
