NVIDIA launches their new GeForce 309.97 drivers
Thinking about the increasingly imminent launch of Microsoft’s new operating system, Nvidia just released drivers for geforce version 309.97, which according to the manufacturer “are what everyone should have for the arrival of Windows 8.”
This new version comes under WHQL certified, will be available through Windows Update, and brings a handful of improvements and additions towards improving performance in gaming. Perhaps more importantly, is that this version of the drivers adds support for the recently launched GTX 650 Ti .
The 309.97 version also includes the PhysX 9.12.0604 and updated 3D Vision profiles for various games, such as Spec Ops: The Line, Counter Strike Global Offensive or F1 2012, among others. On the other hand, is taken for granted TxAA support for the new NVIDIA antialiasing technology that was added under the WHQL stamp a few versions ago.
For a detailed list of changes, can check the official website or PDF prepared for the occasion . The driver can be downloaded directly from the NVIDIA support site.
