NVIDIA shows its technology Fur / Hair accelerated by GPU

A few months ago AMD introduced its TressFX , released in the Tomb Raider , apply effects and enables GPU-accelerated physics to each of the hairs of Lara Croft. Today shows similar technology.

During the event E3 Expo, Nvidia made a brief of its new technology (no official name yet but this is probably and / or PhysX Hair) focused to render / fur (Fur) and hair (Hair) of the characters games, leveraging the power of calculating its family.
