Nvidia Tegra “Grey” will be released in 2013

Last month we learned that Nvidia had decided to postpone its future SoC Tegra ARM 4 “Wayne” originally scheduled for the second half of this year until next year , as assumed future affect the rest of Nvidia Tegra SoC.

As supposed, Nvidia officially announced its first integrated SoC with LTE connectivity known as the Gray code is postponed until next year, so Nvidia will not be able to offer LTE solutions themselves, so they will have to continue to rely on chips from third parties, at least until the release of Grey.

Nvidia for this year will remain with their current SoC Tegra 3, thanks to chips from third parties may be present in smartphones with LTE connectivity to compete with offerings based Qualcomm Krait.
