OCZ Launches New SSD Agility 4
The manufacturer ocz progresses steadily in the market by launching its new solid state drive (SSD) Agility 4, which is to cover the midrange where the Vertex 4 is top of line model that was launched two months ago .
Now, this new device controller also uses Indilinx Everest 2 and composes their mass Storage chip MLC NAND flash, along with 1GB of DRAM cache and support for ECC correction technologies, 256-bit encryption AES-SATA III interface to 6Gbps and TRIM.
The result of these features is a performance ranging from reading and writing 400MB/seg to scroll to 300MB/sec 200MB/sec in reading and writing for models less storage capacity, since according to this factor is as yields unit, available in flavors of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.
Prices range from USD $ 90 (64GB) to $ 600 for 512GB of capacity.
