Some people think that Apple is infallible, but we must remember that sometimes make mistakes, and a clear example is Ping. Launched two years ago , Ping was a project to integrate a Social Network within iTunes. You know, at that time when everyone wanted to be like Facebook.
Through a message on the iTunes 10.7 update, the company announced the closure of this network to September 30. Logically, no longer accept new users.
Introducing Ping, former Apple CEO Steve Jobs said “is like Twitter and Facebook with iTunes”. Apparently Apple is now opting to integrate Facebook and Twitter into their systems rather than trying to compete with them.
