Open webOS now available in beta
open webos Beta consists of two development environments: one for developing desktop applications that allow traditional platforms (for it somehow), and another called OpenEmbedded, the main objective of this OpenEmbedded is that webos can lead to “new and exciting devices, “as you can read in the project blog. Among other things, it includes an emulator for ARM architecture, which is quite talkative.
This beta consists of 54 components of webOS released as open source, or 450,000 lines of code distributed under Apache 2.0. The idea is that developers start using Open webOS to build applications that run on different devices and go slowly putting together a webOS ecosystem.
Project managers who need assistance promise of help, and also agree to highlight the creations and the most important projects of the platform. More detailed information can be found Open webOS in the official site .
