Opera extends by two years its search deal with Google
Last year, Mozilla struck a similar deal with Google .
The Norwegian company today announced financial results for the second quarter, an increase in sales of 32% to $ 52.1 million.
Opera also said that there are 200 million people using their mobile browser, 47% of those who used it during the same period last year. On the desktop, the participation of Opera is 1.59%, while in the mobile market reached 9.32% according to Net Applications.
“Going forward, Opera expects to generate much more revenue from mobile advertising, mobile search and mobile applications,” said the firm.
