Outlook.com eliminates the possibility of linking accounts
Microsoft will remove the accounts linked to their service Outlook.com , a possibility allowed to move from one email account to another within the same window, without having to re-enter the password. This feature was integrated for the first time in 2006, but in July will end.
According to the company, blame Security because users often remain the primary account password updated, but do not regularly change keys associated accounts. The Redmond found that attackers were compromising secondary accounts to access the primary.
Microsoft also integrated two-step verification for your account, for improving security. As an alternative to linked accounts, Microsoft offers integrated “aliases”, that will forward mail from a secondary to a primary account and send email from a different account.
Microsoft also said to be working on a feature to “move alias” for a user to move an E-Mail and e-mails containing from one account to another. The company will send an email to Outlook.com users to explain how to set an alias.
