Participate in Developing Latin America this 1 and December 2
This 1 and December 2 will be held the second edition of Developing Latin America (CHA), a Hackathon with a social purpose: the idea is to generate solutions to problems such as health, education, public safety and others. How can this be achieved? Taking advantage of the information that is available but we have not crossed or organized in a useful way so that we can use in a practical (for reference, you can see projects like Ushahidi for example).
The hackathon was held simultaneously in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay, for 36 hours, where developers, graphic designers, entrepreneurs, journalists and more work in creating applications.
Participants are eligible for a national award, and a regional award. Teams will be judged by a jury that will choose the top three Applications per country that will win USD $ 2,000 for first place, U.S. $ 1,000 for second and $ 500 for third, with a commitment to further develop the application after the Event support coordinator DAL.
The 24 winning teams will return to present their work at regional level in the “DAL Camp” to be held in March, where applications will be evaluated by an international jury. Of these, 8 will have the chance to win a mentorship with Random Hacks of Kindness .
Registration is free, simply register here and look forward to participating.
