Plug calculates how much energy you expend connect devices
MeterPlug is a smart plug that can measure the amount of energy consumed your devices to be connected to the mains. The adapter uses a database of prices for electricity depending on where you are, and then calculates how much money means to your pocket spending the attached device generated per hour, day, week, month and year.
The connector has Bluetooth, which used to send information to an Android or iOS device when it is in range of connection. MeterPlug can also cut the current to whatever is connected when the user walks away with their smartphone, and restart charging when returns within the range.
The device is still a concept IndieGoGo and where he hopes to get USD $ 70,000 to launch the product in April 2013. It has versions for the United States, where the current runs on 110v and Europe (220v), but the application is not available with information for all countries. The idea is equally interesting, and maybe in the future all our outlets can be smart and get information.
