Prepares its new Western Digital hard drives 5TB Red and Green
Current and spacious 4TB hard drives , not much longer retain the crown of the maximum Storage capacity between hard drives SATA-III 3.5 “for desktops, as it has been discovered that is readying new Western Digital hard drives a storage capacity of 25% above: 5TB.
These new 5tb hard drives from Western Digital, not be focused for maximum performance hungry users, but users seeking greater storage capacity, so it will be available in the popular product lines WD Network (NAS focused ) and WD Green (low energy) and therefore expected to have no stellar performance.
As seen in a leaked document, these two new drives will make their appearance in Q4 2013 (October to December), so we have to wait almost a year to see them in action, as long as any other Hard Drive manufacturer not forward them.
