Prince of Asturias Prize for Science advances in immunology

The jury of the Prince of Asturias Prize unanimously decided to award the prize in his field of Scientific and Technical British biologist and American pathologist for his contributions to the field of and obtaining valuable antibodies therapeutic.

“I am honored to have been chosen for this award from the group of scientists who, like Caesar, helped make the antibodies commonly used drugs.”

Both researchers will receive their awards in the coming months, in a ceremony presided by the Prince of Asturias. In addition to honoring the prize is worth fifty thousand Euros, a commissioned sculpture donated by Joan Miro a diploma and a badge Competition.
