Qualcomm Announces Snapdragon RT 800 support Windows 8.1
qualcomm announced that it will offer Windows RT 8.1 support through its powerful Snapdragon processor 800, which will arrive later this year. Announced during the past CES 2013, the Snapdragon 800 is the most powerful chip Qualcomm ARM.
This monster is a combination of four Krait CPU 400 running at 2.2GHz with Adreno 330 GPU with native support for encoding and decoding 4K. According to Qualcomm, RT Windows computers may display resolutions up to 2560 x 2048 pixels before the end of the year.
The company used the Computex event to show the chip running previous versions of Windows RT 8.1. The Snapdragon 800 also features 3G/4G LTE multimode modem and USB 3.0 support.
This would be three chips that supports the platform, the other two are the Tegra 3 and Snapdragon S4. Apart from Windows RT 8.1, the 800 would be integrated Snapdragon phones T6 HTC , Sony Togari , Galaxy Note III or the LG Optimus G2 .Computex 2013, Microsoft, Microsoft Windows RT, qualcomm, RT Windows 8.1, Snapdragon 800, Windows RT 8.1
