Radeon HD 7850 Afox one-slot 2GB tested
A few months ago, during the last CeBIT 2012, Afox revealed a prototype of its new video card Radeon HD 7850 1GB one-slot card, the draft of which released a mysterious new GPU with 768 shader Pitcairn AMD processors . Those KitGuru finally bring us a review with the final edition of the VGA, but in the version with 2GB.
The specifications of the video card Radeon hd 7850 afox one-slot 2GB are exactly the same as those of the reference video cards based on amd GPU Radeon HD 7850 , differing only by having a custom PCB and cooling, optimized for and space-saving design with single-slot (single slot).
Since the specifications are identical to the reference models, in terms of performance does not differ at all from the other reference cards based on the same GPU, but certainly the most interesting in this new video card are the temperatures , noise level and consumption, presented below:
As expected, the VGA has a temperature and noise level somewhat higher than the reference models, but makes up for these slight differences by far thanks to its compact design and consumption somewhat lower than the reference models.
We recommend reviewing the full review KitGuru where even perform test with two of them in 2-Way CrossFireX.
