Rockchip RK3188 ARM processor overclocked to 1.92 GHz

Most tablets and mini PCs that come with the ARM, operate at clock speeds up to 1.6 GHz, however, ArcTablet people has created a firmware which allows the processor to run at speeds of up to 1 , 92 GHz

The results are quite remarkable, with about a 25% score in Antutu Benchmark, and an increase of almost 40% in Linpack.

To dissipate excess heat generated during testing, ArcTablet people chose a stick fan for Android UG007 TV. In the following video you can see how the performed.

No need to overclock the RK3188 chip to run individual applications, there are not many games or malfunctioning Android utilities with the chip at 1.6 GHz

But if you want to speed up the loading times of web pages, and improve the overall responsiveness of the system, it is good to know that you can push the limits of the processor.

You also have the option to search for a device with a faster chip as a Snapdragon 600 or 800, or a Samsung Exynos 5, but obviously, you’ll pay much more for them.
