Rumor: AMD CPUs FX-8150/8120/6200/4170 reach the end of their way to the end of the year
It is assumed that the most likely date for the launch of the new microprocessors and AMD APUs is in October this year, a few days after or coinciding with the launch of Microsoft Windows operating system 8, as AMD is hopeful that this new system operational advantage all the new features of the new micro-architecture piledriver in which these new chips are based.
But with the release of the CPUs AMD FX-Series second generation, from Fudzilla assume that a few weeks or months after AMD plans to discontinue four of its FX-series microprocessors first generation FX-8150, FX-8120, FX- 6200 and FX-4170, whose last orders will be received until the last three months of this year, the expiry of such period cease to make reaching the end of its cycle.
Probably the rest of the FX-series microprocessors first generation will also be discontinued during the first months of next year, making room for their replacements based on the new visor core “AMD FX-Series second generation”.
