Rumor: Microprocessors Sandy Bridge will reduce their prices from June to July

Last month Intel launched its microprocessors Core 3 rd generation based on their micro-architecture Ivy Bridge, but although it is common that the launch of a new family of microprocessors is accompanied by a in prices of previous models (in this case Core microprocessors 2 nd generation “Sandy Bridge”), in this case the reduction was not given.

From Digitimes report that possibly this reduction will be effective between June and July this year, a measure that seeks to improve the sales of the now “old” chips in combinations DT / MB / ULV while supplies last .

has not confirmed or denied this rumor, so do not be forced to wait until the announced dates to be sure. But more likely is that this is true and that it is a measure to counter the Trinity APU desktop, which will probably be released in August.
