Rumors of a MacBook Pro 13-inch display Retina
Appeared a Geekbench benchmark where, according to the site, we measured the performance of a new and hitherto unknown 13-inch MacBook Pro would have the technology retina display on your screen, such as 15-inch device presented a few weeks ago during the event WWDC 2012.
The rumors are because the computer name in the benchmark, “MacBookPro10, 2″, relates to the fact that the 13-inch MacBook Pro without Retina display is named “MacBookPro9, 2″. While the new MacBook Pro 15 inch Retina display is “MacBookPro10, 1″ and the previous version without the new technology on your screen, “MacBookPro9, 1″.
In addition, the test indicates that the machine would be running the mac OS X 10.8 (Build 12A2056), which is believed to correspond to Mountain Lion because it is normal in the build code that Apple will increase the first two digits after each release, followed by a letter and four figures.
According to the trial software, the new MacBook Pro 13-inch have the same processor as its predecessor, an Intel Core i7 2.9 GHz I suspect is that the benchmark suggests that only have 4GB of RAM, while it would double the predecessor 8GB. Even so, the suspect computer in the test scored 7806 points, a figure similar to that obtained in the model without Retina display and the same processor.
