Sapphire Announces its Radeon HD video card 7870 Toxic “Tahili LE”

It was rumored that AMD had planned to release today its new GPU Tahiti LE , which supposedly would be used only in a few video cards manufactured by TUL Corporation: PowerColor, and Club3D VTX3D , but since we can give to this last rumor false, since today announced its new Toxic, which is based on AMD’s new Tahiti GPU.

The video card Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 Toxic, but your business name suggests we were com based on Radeon HD 7870 XT Pitcairn, this is not so, but based on the new AMD GPU, which is a variant AMD Tahiti GPU cutout, the same used in the Radeon HD GPUs 7970/GHz Edition (Tahiti XT/XT2) and Radeon HD 7950/Boost Edition (Tahiti Pro/Pro2), but with the memory bus to 256 bits remembered.

Sapphire has yet to reveal the operating frequencies or the price of your new video card, but so far has revealed that a PCB (VRMs DirectFET) and cooling (dual-fan + backplate) custom.
