Skype will launch new application with Windows 8

will have a new version to be released in conjunction with on Friday. The app is simply called “Skype for Windows 8″, and that changes in performance, brings a new look in line with the new operating system.

The redesign fits the new Windows interface by showing the contacts and bookmarks in “tiles” or ceramic, the “modern” style. In addition to integrating the contacts we have added specifically to Skype, people will also have application in the “Contacts” (People) of Windows 8.

Remember that Skype was acquired by Microsoft , so some level of integration is expected.
