Stop developing Mozilla Thunderbird

announced it will develop its customer e-mail, stating “continuous innovation in is not the best use of resources given our ambitious organizational goals.” The message was sent to officers asking them not to disclose Mozilla – something that obviously was not met – since the official announcement would be Monday.

As the information is filtered, Mozilla released the ad post today, saying that not fail abandoned at about 20 million users who have this service.

“Mozilla security updates delivered via a process of extended support. Also maintain mechanisms for the Thunderbird community to organize itself to future development,” said Mitchell Baker of Mozilla.

The truth is that the organization has several projects in hand, as its mobile operating system Boot to Gecko , a publisher of web browser called Thimble and a browser for iPad called Junior .
