Symantec announces its own storage system in the cloud, “Norton Zone”
Norton Zone will, in 2013, a service that lets you share files presumably safe. Photos, videos, documents, whatever you need to share it from your computer or smartphone in a simple but, with strong encryption so no one can hack your files.
The application allows you to edit files in the same cloud and automatically synchronize changes to the devices you have shared, and who have access to your files will have the confidence of knowing you are not inadvertently sharing a file with virus, Norton scans each file to make sure it does not have some malware.
Another thing you can do is to create direct links to the file you want, just as you can put restrictions on download either by date or limit discharges, even, you can put the league on Facebook for your friends to do the download from there .
Zone will work with Windows 7, Windows 8, OS X, iPhone, iPad and Android which gives you the opportunity to access your files anytime, anywhere.
Today, this service is running as a beta, meaning that you have to register and wait for Symantec will return a single access to access the service. Funny thing is that the site says that during the beta, Norton Zone will be free which obviously indicates that this is not free though, do we know if there will be levels in services such as dropbox where an amount per month you have enough storage .
