The Lytro camera can now connect the iPhone to share your photos

landed on the market two years ago with the promise to revolutionize the way we take pictures. The concept of changing the approach solved one of the most common mistakes of those who like to shoot your camera to anything that moves.

After some time and several updates among which include filters and motion pictures, the company announced it launched a new firmware that enables Wi-Fi functionality of the camera. The wireless, which remained blocked until today, Lytro will connect the to share our photos.

Through an application and a wireless network created by the can connect to share pictures. This will save you the extra step of connecting to the computer via the desktop application.

Users can share photos directly using the player Lytro.com owner or as an animated GIF to social networks like Twitter or Facebook. The application of IOS also supports a mode called perspective shift which uses a parallax effect simulating a 3D image.

Currently this functionality only supports users, however an Android application is already in development. It is noteworthy that almost a year and a half and was rumored a possible connection between the camera and the phone.
