The new MacBook Pro with Haswell could come later this year
During the last WWDC Apple decided to keep the announcement of new MacBook Pro with processors Haswell , leaving the spotlight pointing to the MacBook Air . Now new evidence has emerged that the Pro range of notebooks include these processors, after a performance test (benchmark) conducted by Geekbench .
According to the numbers, the new MacBook Pro 15-inch, known as AAPLJ45, 1 features an Intel Core i7-4950 2.40 GHz HQ, Iris Pro 5200 integrated graphics, 16GB of RAM and the next version of the operating system Apple OS X known as Mavericks.
All that remains to be discovered is whether these tests were to Retina screen equipment and make sure if the MacBook Pro has proven discrete graphics. Current models of MacBook Pro (except the 13-inch Retina) includes a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M GPU coupled with the Intel HD 4000.
If true this information might see an update to the MacBook Pro later this year, after all there is no logical reason for not taking the plunge.
