The Omni Virtuix walk simulator was officially launched today Kickstarter project
As many of you know the Oculus Rift, and some have already heard of the Omni, the device simulator hike, which along with the Oculus and pad Razer Hydra, the trio are perfect (or almost missing the ARAIG ) to play games immersed in virtual reality.
Omni is designed to translate the movements of real life on the move during the game. The player can literally walk through a vast landscape, or run, shoot and hide in a FPS game.
Today, Virtuix finally launched its new Kickstarter project to fund the Omni, so you can entrrar in the manufacturing stage, and most importantly, provide units with good discounts to the fans.
Apparently, gamers really want to play with virtual reality machines. The Omni not only exceeded its goal to raise $ 150,000 within hours, but the amount of the donation is increasing at a rate of U.S. $ 1,000 per minute. Each armed Omni Omni costs U.S. $ 400, and is already sold out.
The Omni version to arm oneself, costs $ 300. You may even unarmed and those copies are gone by the time you finish reading this sentence, so if you really want an Omni will have to wait a while and pay full price at the Kickstarter page.
Virtuix has released his latest video yesterday, which was well developed, with detailed explanations and demonstrations. From just seeing that makes you want to buy it immediately.
Here, then, explaining his latest video, subtitled in Spanish. (Not a trailer).
