The Sunday Times says RIM could separate your business and sell its hardware
In Research In Motion continue to explore options in order to get back on track in its competitive market, after several years that have simply been displaced. The crisis continues to plague the Canadian giant , and reportedly from The Sunday Times, one of the measures to consider to weather the storm would be the division of your business.
This division would separate the production and manufacture of hardware, its messaging network. The separation would not be just because, but the purpose behind all business would be rid of the phones and tablets. Even have to mention that a couple of potential buyers (Facebook and Amazon), and it is possible either that the-potential-messaging division also sold.
The Sunday Times does not cite any sources but “insiders”, so the speculation will be open during the next few days. Or at least, until from RIM officially speak in detail of their plans in the medium and long term. It would be rather strange, though, do not forget that RIM hardware and engaged in software, but it was not the first case in history, there is Sega still alive.
