The woman behind one of the largest 3D printer in the world [FW Interview]
At present, Chile is in the 3D printer for personal use world’s largest , the Gigabot, created by the company re: 3D and after a successful Kickstarter campaign is preparing to offer the world the ability to create objects as large as possible within their print space inside 61x61x61 inches.
The Gigabot is located in Santiago Makerspace , an open workshop where anyone can create what you go through your head without the need to be a professional, then deliver access to 3D printers, laser cutters, welders, robotics kits, chips and Arduino components to work, et cetera.
We spoke to Samantha Snabes , co-founder of re: 3D, and one of the people behind the Gigabot to tell us a little about these revolutionary machines whose applications never cease to amaze . We leave you with the video.
