This year, Microsoft Bing and crawled to Santa Claus, not Google

It has become a tradition to follow the path of “Father Christmas”, “Santa Claus” or as you call through the tool that Command North American Aerospace Defence ( NORAD ) installed each year. Since its inception in 2007, monitoring was done in conjunction with Google. This 2012, however, tracking Santa will be in charge of Bing.

“This year, Track Santa and mutually agreed to go in new directions, and we are excited to welcome many taxpayers, to include Microsoft, Windows Azure, and iLink-Systems, among others, to help us in our mission follow Santa “, said the entity to Search Engine Land.

NORAD also have an official app for “Track Santa” in Windows 8, Windows Phone , Android and iOS . Last year there were no applications, and Google offered show where was the sleigh with reindeer just when someone did a search for “Santa”.

On the other hand, Bing has only two-dimensional views, not 3D as with Google Earth. To see Santa in three dimensions, we must use the tool provided by a third company called Cesium .

Thus, the Santa tracking is becoming an issue in which companies struggle. Google still has a bit of the event to YouTube, where the organization maintains an official channel , plus a page on Google+ .
