Titanic: James Cameron will try to prove that Jack and Rose did not fit in the same raft
Before you ask, this is science Gentlemen filmmaker James Cameron will participate in the program Mythbusters to try to prove that the protagonists of the film Titanic, jack and Rose, the two did not fit in the door they used balsa and therefore ( -spoiler alert!) only Rose is saved.
In an interview with IGN , Cameron stated that “Mythbusters address this problem, and I will help you do it.” More than any you’ve seen this image that has circulated widely on the internet trying to both fit on the raft, including an extensive discussion of physical Reddit :
“It’s really not a matter of space, is a matter of buoyancy. When Jack puts Rose on the raft, and then try to climb – not an idiot, not to die – the raft sinks, and as it turns. So clearly there is enough buoyancy for only one person. So he makes the decision that she is the one to be saved, instead of drowning them both, “said Cameron.
Apparently Cameron has thought extensively on this issue. While many may think that it makes little sense to investigate this topic, it is interesting how a romantic movie can start discussing physics.buoyancy, Cinema, hypothermia, jack, James Cameron, Physics, raft, Rose, Titanic, Water
