Toshiba will stop selling netbooks in the U.S.
Does anyone remember the netbook? No doubt this form of compact PCs has passed second – or third – level, so much so that now Toshiba will not release new models of these devices anymore in the U.S. market, giving up and betting on another computer class to fill this niche of customers.
And is that with the arrival of the tablet , netbook sales dropped to the point that several manufacturers previously considered and put aside this category, Lenovo and Samsung as examples of that, which will be enhanced if the Ultrabooks intel succeed in the market.
Because these devices are precisely those who will come to replace netbooks, offering the same portability but with better performance, but also associated with a higher price. We’ll see if the public matter or not the Netbooks when they want to renew their equipment and see the cost of Ultrabooks.
