TSMC will begin mass producing chips with support for 64bit ARM
So far, the arm microprocessor architecture has not come strongly to the traditional computer market, mainly because of lack of support for Windows operating systems and secondly, the absence of mass produced chips for 64-bit, both current standard elements the PC industry
However, RT Windows (Windows 8 for ARM) and the existence of armv8 architecture (64bits), both problems are solved, which is still missing masifiquen to give real momentum to the ARM computer. In this is that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), one of the largest chipmakers in the world, announced that comenarán to mass-produce chips ARMv8.
According to ARM, the largest amount of memory thanks to the 64-bit support, along with high performance, ARM will serve to raise the enterprise market and infrastructure networks, promising design architecture to 64 bits specially designed to be efficient energy.
